ZAMWI’s quest for a Zoroastrian Center in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.

Based on the October 2007 decision of the Guiv Foundation for ZAMWI to construct a ~10,000 SF facility at the property at the Hunter Mill Road, we would like to share some detailed information with you and solicit nominations for the Chair of ZAMWI’s Center Committee.The meeting will be followed by a Potluck dinner (6:00 pm) so please bring a dish to share. Paper products, drinks, and entertainment for the children during the meeting will be provided by ZAMWI. For more information please contact Farhad Verahramiat 301-279-9629.

BBQ lunch will be served (free, with generous donations)
Raffle, games (tug of war, balloon toss, races, etc).
All ages are invited to join.
The registration fee is $20 per rider, up to $50 per family, and the fee includes a custom-T-shirt for each rider.
It all goes to a good cause....

The
Zoroastrian Society of Ontario (ZSO) is very pleased to host the
XIV North American Zoroastrian Congress “IMPACT – Unleash
the Spark Within!” The Congress will be held in Toronto,
Canada from Friday June 29 to Monday, July 2, 2007 and we invite
you to come feel the IMPACT!
Our
Congress theme is IMPACT – Unleash the Spark Within! The
Congress will feature innovative speakers and thought-provoking
topics encompassing the impact Zoroastrianism has had on civilization.
IMPACT will also showcase leadership within our community.
The
Congress will help you make connections with people, knowledge,
and ideas. IMPACT will highlight success amongst Zoroastrian leaders
in different spheres while providing networking and inspiration
to the next generation. Content and activities will focus on everything
from religion to culture, to commerce, to arts; all with a Zoroastrian
backdrop.
We
will offer activities and presentations targeted to individuals
of all ages, with a parallel track designed specifically for youth.
In addition, we will also feature artistic and musical talent
from within the community.
